About the Design

For this piece, I wanted to create a poster for a band’s upcoming tour that fit their vibe as well as looked realistic to many tour poster we currently see. The color scheme was chosen from the colors within their album as well as the single that had just been released. These covers, as well as the mixing of the music itself, gave me very retro-turned-modern vibes and that was something I wanted to recreate within this poster. Along with that, I wanted to make sure the headlining band was the main focus, both with their name at the top and their logo largely displayed in the center.
